Our French Bulldog puppies are priced competitively for the quality and effort that go into raising them, especially when you consider we offer a five year health guarantee with our puppies! We breed and raise our French Bulldog puppies out of love, not money. After a litter is raised and sent to their forever homes, the costs of keeping and maintaining the health and care of the parents goes on. Many of the health tests outlined below are annual tests required to monitor the high health standards we set for our Frenchies and their future litters…and we do not re-home or sell our adult Frenchies…they are part of our family forever…thus their care continues long after they have stopped breeding.
We welcome face-to-face and local purchases as well as those from out-of-state and overseas. We’ve had numerous buyers of our Boxer & Frenchie puppies throughout the years that have resided out-of-state and even some who have lived in other parts of the world, thus we have extensive experience and expertise having our Frenchie puppies transported to virtually anywhere in the United States or internationally. Transportation costs vary but are usually $650.00 for transport within the U.S., depending upon the airline, distance, location, time of year, etc. This is the total fee charged by the transporter, we do not add any additional costs to transporting our Boxers. We take diligent steps to compare shipping costs in order to minimize the expense of transporting your pet to you and provide you with the best service for the least amount of money while always demanding the utmost care and comfort of our Boxer puppies in transit, ensuring they arrive to their new homes safe and sound!
All sales are final, except as outlined within the purchase agreement. We accept cash (though we do not recommend sending cash through the mail), certified cashiers check or money order. We also accept most major credit cards with an additional service fee. In order to minimize payment costs & fees, we have an account at Wells Fargo Bank where payments/deposits can be made directly into our account at any local branch office or payments/deposits can be transferred using Zelle or Venmo, or mailed via FedEx or other overnight/two-day delivery service providers. We never markup costs on any aspect of our service, whether it’s receiving payment or shipping/delivery of our puppies. Deposits are 25% of purchase price in order to reserve & hold a puppy. - Limited Registration – $3,500 – $4,000 Pet home only, no breeding or show rights
- Full Registration – $4,500 – Breeding & show rights assigned to approved homes/breeders & with certain requirements
- Stud Service – $3,500 – Approved homes/breeders & with certain requirements
Many people who do not know the breed or have never owned a Frenchie will often ask us this and question what is different about our puppies to make them priced above those often advertised in the local newspaper.
All our Frenchies are fully health tested prior to breeding in an effort to “breed out” certain genetic diseases or defects. The parents are tested for several genetic markers that if exist within a Frenchie indicate certain genetic susceptibility or a greater likelihood of contracting or passing on these genetic defects in the line.
Some of the tests our Frenchies receive are:

- HUU
- JHC
- CMR1
Thus, these tests alone indicate the numerous efforts and steps we go through to breed the highest quality of Frenchie possible. We carefully screen any mating to ensure that both sides of the lineage are clear of these genetic markers that can cause severe disease and death in Frenchies. Those of us who have had Frenchies in the past which may have been plagued by one or more of these or other conditions know the expense that goes with treating your French Bulldog and the heartache of losing them too soon to disease or unknown abnormal genetic defects in the linage. This is also why we’re confident in offering a five-year health guarantee on all our puppies!
Add to this the high-end puppy food we wean our Frenchies on in order to give them the best nutrition available, their vaccinations and health checks with our veterinarian to ensure their health and proper development, the efforts we go to in order to socialize our French Bulldog puppies prior to sale or transport to their new homes, and the numerous other costs involved in maintaining the highest quality of care and health of our Frenchies and their puppies highlight just some of the differences.
In short, “backyard breeders” may have cute puppies which are cheaper to purchase, but they rarely come with health guarantees…and certainly not the numerous health tests and quality breeding measures that Mountain Crest Frenchies insists on…and though there are never certainties with any living creature, the peace of mind that comes with owning a French Bulldog that has a quality lineage with superior health tested ancestors is, in short, priceless!
